I spent the day today scrambling to get everything together to leave the country. I had a landscape client who needed a job finished before I left, I needed to go to the bank, pick up my business cards from Penta, help move some furniture for a friend who was moving, and pack. I have been thinking about this blog all day though; and thought that I better formally introduce myself to anyone who has decided to follow my travels in Jordan.

I grew up in Tiffin, Ohio, graduated from Tiffin Columbian, and worked as a landscape architect before becoming a teacher.

I am the co-founder, singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the band Tinfoil.

I am a social studies teacher at Penta Career Center teaching American Government, American History, and World Issues.

You can find more information on Penta at:

I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2002 and Lourdes College in 2008. I have been an instructor at Lourdes College since 2009 in the business department.

Tomorrow morning we are departing from Detroit Metro Airport for a tedious three day journey to Amman, Jordan. We will have almost a day lay over in Germany and plan on spending four hours in Luxembourg.

I am not sure when I will be able to add another post……but I should be able to by July 3rd…..

Wish us luck!
